It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta J. Bashioum of West Newton, Pennsylvania, born in Clairton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Bane and Catherine "Kit" Bane; her daughters, Sally A. and Nancy B. Bashioum; and her sister Ruth Demarco.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Bashioum (Robin) of Scottdale, Roberta McGervey (Dan) of Pittsburgh, Richard Bashioum (Hillary) of Westminster and Denise Ewing (Scott) of West Newton; her husband Richard W Bashioum; her siblings, Patty Bales (Corbin), Marion Bane Lewis, Robert Bane (Jenny), Kathy See (Ray) and Dennis Bane (Crystal); her grandchildren, Matt Bashioum, Nicolas, Danny McGervey, William, Dori Bashioum, R. J. Lee, Eric Ewing, Elliott and Sam Epstein; and her great grandchild Madison. She is also survived by her children, her grandchildren and her siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Nicholson Cancer Fund, which offered great assistance to Roberta and her family, 2511 Springfield Pike, Connellsville, PA 15425.
