He was predeceased by: his father Anton Vertacnik; his wife Josephine (Sawa); and his sons, Robert J. Vertacnik and Eric L. Vertacnik. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Jo Sorrento (Orlando) and Leanne Turner (Brian); his granddaughters, Hayley and Alyssa Turner; and his sister Betty Torkar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
