He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Spaniel and Mary Spaniel (Kobulinsky); his wife Rose Marie Spaniel (Bergman); his daughter Cindy Lash; his great grandchild Katie Rose Keith; and his brothers, Jerome and Regis Spaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Welshhans (Butch Leavens), Linda Byzon (Barry), Robert Spaniel (Linda Green) and Mary Beth Inks (Jerry Roupe). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
