He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony "Tony" DeBernardo and Jean DeBernardo (Detore); and his brothers, John and Eugene DeBernardo. He is survived by: his wife Alexis DeBernardo (Samios); his children, Shelly Lagrotteria (Jeff), Lisa Fera (Joe) and Michael A. DeBernardo, Jr.; his grandchildren, Mikey Muro, Alexa, Jeffrey (Katie Macioce), Nina Lagrotteria and Michael W. DeBernardo; and his brother Anthony DeBernardo (Linda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
