She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dougherty and Elizabeth Dougherty (Hodermarsky); her husband Roy N. "Buzz" Saxon, Jr.; her son Wayne Saxon; and her siblings, Bernadette Garges and Richard Dougherty.
She is survived by: her children, Roy N. Saxon, III (Alice) of White Oak, Dan Saxon of Florence, SC, Sean Saxon (Beth) of White Oak, Kenneth Saxon (Krystal) of Kennesaw, GA, Paul D. Saxon (Monique) of Elizabeth Township, Mary E. Walos (Jeff) and Sharon M. Saxon of Elizabeth Township; her sister Carol Joseph of North Huntingdon; and her daughter-in-law Christine Saxon of McKeesport. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
