With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Nickolls of West Newton, Pennsylvania, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustaf Johnson and Margaret Johnson (Loeffler); her husband Fredrick Nickolls; her siblings, Russell Johnson and Audrey Riemenschneider; and her grandson Jason Detman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Detman (Clark), Joan Stachurski (Ed), Thomas Nickolls, Mark Nickolls (Linda) and Marlene Pearce (James). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
