She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Way and Jesse Way (Wood); her husband Richard J. Schmidt; her siblings, Doris Anderson, William and Phillip Way; and her great grandchild Jayson Tuttle.
She is survived by: her children, Richard P. Schmidt (Traci) of West Newton, Charles J. Schmidt (JoAnn) of Connellsville, Kathryn Jean Schmidt (Thomas Harmon) of West Newton and Daniel A. Schmidt (Lois) of Monaca; her grandchildren, Steven W. Bradley (Lisa Wennerstrom), Krystal DeVault (Jeff), Daniel Schmidt (Vanessa), Jason Schmidt (Sarah), Lauren Leone (Benjamin), Nicole Davis (Chad), Michael Schmidt (Kate) and Matthew Schmidt (Brittney); and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Jade, Opel, Emerald, Claire, Jacob, Natalia, Luca, Arianna, Jenna, Julia, Briar, Josh, Jaydin and Finley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
