He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Brunella and Laura Brunella (Kontur); and his sisters, Elizabeth Theis, Lorana Locke, Marie Altamire and Sue Blasko.
He is survived by: his wife Daryl L. Brunella (Nicholls); his sons, Jay Brunella (LuAnn) and Gary Brunella (Jean); his grandchildren, Adam Brunella (Amy), Eric Brunella (Sarah) and Alyse Eyssautier (Sean); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Bodie, Paige, Oliver and Graham; his sister Stella "Dolly" Cadman; his sister-in-law Linda Shoaf (Bob); and his nephews, Joel and Jared Shoaf. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
