We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2021, at the age of 92, Edmund Minkus of West Newton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Minkus and Catherine Minkus (Patley); his wife Betty Jo Harden Minkus; and his children, Cecelia Minkus, Steven A. Minkus, Mary Catherine Fox, Ruth Ann Prosser and Marcia Jo Minkus-Mills.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Minkus (Ethel) of Webster, Teresa Vitigoy of West Newton and Mark Minkus (Elizabeth) of North Huntingdon; his grandchildren, Christine (Rob), Gregory, Michael Minkus, Michelle Trenk (Doug), Frank Vitigoy (Abby), Sarah Griffith (Bo), Danielle, Hannah, Caitlin Minkus, David Seiple (Angela), Kevin Seiple (Sara), Scott Seiple (Anna) and Joel Fox; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Alexis, Lily, Dale, Saben Vitigoy, Isaac, Ruthann Trenk, Adalynn Griffith, Xzavier Farabaugh, Peighton Minkus, Koda, Hermilee Minkus, Emma, Graylyn and Abram Seiple.
At the request of the family, everyone attending the visitation and services are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Red Cross http://www.redcross.org.
