David R. Backstrom Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2022, at the age of 71, David R. Backstrom of West Newton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David R. Backstrom, and Esther V. Backstrom, Sr. (Hand); and his brother Danny Backstrom. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Backstrom (Dabin); his children, Lisa Backstrom and Bryan Backstron (April); his grandchildren, Lucas and Mila King; and his siblings, Dana Backstrom (Roiann) and Darlene Deem (Danny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, West Newton or the Westmoreland County Food Bank.
