He is survived by: his sons, Carmen Yates, Jr., Jonathan Yates and Benjamen Yates; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Mina and Lydia; and his siblings, Debbie Povanda (Skip), Theresa Fedigan (Tom), Tony Yates and Kim Dietz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
