He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Mitchell and Margery "Dolly" Mitchell (Fulmer); his wife Ruth Marlene Mitchell (Kimberly); his sons, Scott and Fred Mitchell; his stepfather Phil Dave; his half-brother Terry Dave; his brother Milton "Bud" Mitchell; and his son-in-law Lee Kelly.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Kelly; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Travis, Jared, Clarissa, Michaela, Alex, Matthew Mitchell and Brian Kelly; his half-siblings, Kathy Sandy and Robert Dave (Dee); his brother Charles Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Rosemarie Brown (James). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
