He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thorne and Emma Thorne (Linhart); his grandsons, Michael Garrick and Nathan Thorne; and his siblings, LaRue Crotti, Shirley Sieckowski and John Thorne.
He is survived by: his wife Reta A. Thorne (Herbert); his children, Terri Garrick (Brent), Dwayne Thorne (Sheri), Tracey Lane (Scott) and Larry Thorne (Jaci); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexander, Andrew, Alyse Thorne, Emily Rowland (Austin), Logan Thorne (Caysi), Zachary Thorne (Kayla) and Gabrielle Thorne; and his great grandchild Noah.
