He was predeceased by: his parents, William McCarthy and Helen McCarthy; and his brother Tom McCarthy. He is survived by: his children, Bill McCarthy, Ken McCarthy (Sam) and Laura Frena (late Robert); his grandchildren, Will (Heather), Brenda (Ryan), Jonah and Robert; and his great grandchildren, Alexis and Brooklyn.
