She was predeceased by: her husband James E Shields Sr.; her son Paul Shields; her parents, Mabel W Orr (Garland) and Charles J Orr; her siblings, Darlene McLindon (Orr) and Charles "Butch" Orr Jr.; her niece Renee McLindon; and her friend Mary Carol McCarthy.
She is survived by: her children, James E Shields Jr. (Jennifer), Glenn P Shields (Amy) and Randi Lane (Jim); her grandchildren, Connor, Mackenzie, Keara, Austin, Logan, Olivia and Liam; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Orr and Joan Shields.
