She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Schulte and Loretta Schulte (Snyder); her husband John C. "Jack" Serena; her sisters, Dolores Zewe, Catherine Derhofer, Jane Steputis and Carole Petrozza; and her siblings-in-law, James and Teresa Serena.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Serena (Vilma), Maribeth Bastian (Eric) and Jane Cannata (Steve); her grandchildren, Nick, Kaelynn (JC), Ryan, Parker, Kendall, Brianna, Amanda, Michael and Joey; and her great grandchild Oliver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
