He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pulit and Helen Pulit (Bombik); his brother Edward; and his brother-in-law Eugene Adams. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pulit (Adams); his children, Karen Hoopes (Dave), Beth Heller (Chris Mathews) and Robert M. Pulit (Lori); his grandchildren, Christy J. Heller (Chuck Schwab), Ashley E. Heller (Nathan McElhinney), Joseph R. Pulit and Tara E. Pulit; his great grandchild Gabriel T. McElhinney; his brothers, Richard and Charles Pulit; and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Higham and Mary Ellen Adams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
