With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert J. Peternel of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 26, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Peternel and Mary Dolance Peternel Wayne; his wife Mildred Lamars Peternel; and his siblings, Ethel Mudron and Regis Peternel.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Dolata (Thomas) of West Mifflin, Regis Peternel (Nadia) of Baldwin and Diana Clark (Mike) of Clairton; his brother William Peternel of Brentwood; and his grandchildren, Ashley Kratzenberg (James), Brittany Dolata, Thomas Dolata, Justina Peternel, Christopher Mitchell and Robert Mitchell. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
