With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia J. Axelson of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Patricia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Patricia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Patricia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin L. Gastrock and Hazel M. Gastrock (Evans); her husband John A. Axelson; and her brother Franklin Gastrock Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Heather D. Axelson (Joshua Carmino); her sister Hazel Kuzma (Joe); and her nieces and nephews, Joe Kuzma Jr., Keith Kuzma, Dylan Kuzma, Savannah Kuzma (Damein) and Chelsea Kuzma.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William's. Skovranko Memorial (828 Richford St, Duquesne, PA 15110). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Homeville Christian Church (4702 Eliza St, West Mifflin, PA 15122).
