He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Vash and Margaret Vash (Moriarty); and his sister Alberta Vash. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Vash (Bucek); his sons, Michael Vash (Kathy) of Roscoe, PA and Craig Vash (Lori Campbell) of West Mifflin; his grandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Emma, Gavin and Dominic Vash; and his sisters, Verda Mastandrea (Stephen) of West Mifflin and Cathy Noga (Gerald) of West View, PA.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, Inc. (915 Kennedy Ave, Duquesne, PA 15110). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish (1 Saint Therese Court, Munhall, PA 15120).
