Joseph Skalican Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Skalican of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Skalican and Anna Skalican (Meschanik); his wife Mary Veronica Skalican (Dudash); and his siblings, Sylvester Skalican, Mary Danaluk, Helen Karlowski, Stephen Skalican and Veronica Kostrub.

He is survived by: his child Juliann F. Skalican (Geoffrey Crowe) of Penn Hills; his granddaughter Julia Marion Crowe (Adam); and his parents-in-law, Donald Rausch and Margaret Forsythe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

All PA Covid-19 precautions will be in place at the Funeral Home and masks MUST be worn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to https://www.mysmiletrain.org or the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
