He was predeceased by: his parents, David Crothers and Anna Crothers (Duffy); and his sibling Rosellen Cowell. He is survived by: his children, Colleen Fawcett (Dale), John Crothers Jr. (Ruth) and Rich Bankey (Stacey); his grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, David and Rachel; his great grandchildren, Ryland, Delani, Karsyn and Martin Jr. Dear; his siblings, Kathleen Stroh (Bill), Eileen Baran (Stan), Margaret Schneider (late Tom) and James Crothers; and his pet Pepper.
