He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Werner Coleman and Mary Jane Coleman (Adler). He is survived by: his wife Dr. Rebecca Coleman; his sister-in-law Louise Deweese (Lynn); his sister Carol Zini (late Leo) of Upper St; his niece Sherri Collins (Sean); his nephew David Stoehr; and his goddaughter Kate Istone (McCormack).
