He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Ann (Bezak); his parents, George Sr. and Helen (Macuga); his daughter-in-law Heather Rakar; and his brother David Rakar.
He is survived by: his children, George Rakar III, Julia (Brian Calnan) and Genevieve "Gigi" (Madelyn); and his sisters, Nancy Rakar-Tygrett and Janet Rakar.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Home, Inc. (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120).
