He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lavra and Eleanor Lavra (Visconti). He is survived by: his children, Darlene Purdy (Adam) and Joseph Lavra (Sarah); his sister Joan Lavra; and his grandchildren, Katren, Aiden, Abigal, Mason and Joey.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Savolskis - Wasik - Glenn Funeral Servicel Home (3501 Main St, Munhall, PA 15120). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church (903 Ann St, Homestead, PA 15120). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery (903 Ann St, Homestead, PA 15120).
