She was predeceased by: her parents, John Milko and Rose Milko (Frinsco); her husband Raymond F. Barkes; her siblings, John Milko, Jr., Rose Halko, Elsie Esken Boisko and Gertrude Rusnak; her nephews, Robert Halko and Kenneth Halko; and her niece Mary Lou Siesky (Kirmeyer).
She is survived by: her son Kevin G. Barkes (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Douglas Barkes (Angela) and Sara Kay Salopek (Brian); her great grandchildren, Leanna Salopek and Joelle Barkes; and her nieces and nephews, Nancy Klasnick, Shirley Milko, Andrea Shacklock (Wayne), Bonnie Brissenden, Patricia Theriault (Louis), Timothy Rusnak, Harry Esken (Janice) and John Milko.
