He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Kester and Hugh Kester; and his wife Norma Kester. He is survived by: his daughter Jane Kester Hartsell; his grandchildren, Bradley Kester (Nicole) and Rebecca Hartsell (Nick); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Brody, Tawoin, Kyloren and Braxton; his siblings, Cathy Scranton, Susan Gillingham and Thomas Steed; and his godchildren, Anthony Stetson and Roberta Noschese. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
