Audrey N. Balawajder Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Audrey N. Balawajder of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, born in Duquesne, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul and Anna Neslanik (Syrek); and her sister Laura Gontkon. She is survived by: her son Gregg Balawajder (Christine) of Montoursville; her grandchildren, Joseph and Aly Wertz (Kurt); her son Col. Todd Balawajder (Clare) of Williamsburg, VA; her grandson Andrew; and her siblings, Roberta May (Fred) of Redmond, Wash, Hedy Howe (Warren) of Cranberry, PA and Paul Neslanik (Dolores) of Greenville, PA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home (301 Curry Hollow Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (1 Grove Pl, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Lebanon Church Cemetery (2615 Old Elizabeth Rd, West Mifflin, PA 15122).
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggests memorial contributions may be made to WeCare Nursing & Rehabilitation, 1445 Sycamore Rd., Montoursville, PA 17754 for the benefit of their activities.
