He was predeceased by: his siblings, Clem, Joe, Paul and Marlene. He is survived by: his spouse Carroll Kirk; his children, Tina Oberdorf Miller (Harry) and Kirk Oberdorf (Lori); his grandchildren, Abigail Miller, Jessica Miller and Sydney Oberdorf; and his siblings, Bob Oberdorf (Joni), Jim Oberdorf (Anna Marie), Elvira Tafi and Catherine Faiola (Bob).

Due to the current coronavirus restrictions, a memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Christ the King Church at a later date.
