He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John, Mariam Braden, Harry and Harriet Zalewski; and his uncles, John "Spink" Braden and Steven Zalewski.

He is survived by: his parents, Tom A. Braden and Cindy A. Braden (Zalewski) of Fawn Township; his wife Sarah L. Braden (Silvio) of West Leechburg; his sons, Alan of West Leechburg, Johnny of West Leechburg and Chase Braden of West Leechburg; his siblings, Tabatha Flanick (Joe) of Oakmont and Tim Braden of New Kensington; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Carol Silvio. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
