He was predeceased by: his brothers, Lester, Ray and Earl. He is survived by: his children, Susan E. Hall (Lawrence) of Birdsboro and Burton D. Schaeffer (Michelle) of Auburn; his grandchildren, Katie Mazzi (Justin), Lisa Hickey (Matt) and Burt Schaeffer Jr. (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Julia, Alexis, Heather, Benjamin, Teagan and Chase; and his stepsister Linda Gelsinger of Wooster, OH..
