He was predeceased by: his parents, John Muchanic and Mary Muchanic (McNulty); his siblings, John, Marion, Grace, Robert, Eileen and Richard; and his former wife Mary Lou Muchanic (Moriarty).
He is survived by: his wife Susan Muchanic (Mazur); his daughters, Christine Muchanic and Sharon Gombar (Tom); his grandsons, Matthew, Daniel and Andrew Gombar; and his sisters-in-law, Joyce Muchanic and Rosemarie Muchanic. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
