He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Purifoy and Evelyn Purifoy; and his mother-in-law Josefina Garcia. He is survived by: his sister Eva Purifoy Murawski; his brother-in-law Joseph Murawski; his father-in-law Rodolfo; his wife Myrna; his sons, Jonathan (Christie) and Eric (Lori); and his grandchildren, Lillian, Thaddeus, Beau and Elsa. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
