It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Brittingham Decker in West Grove, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bahel and Alva Bahel; her husband James E. Decker, Sr.; her former husband Hilborn Brittingham, Jr.; her brother Robert Bahel; and her son Jeffrey A. Brittingham.
She is survived by: her brother Richard Bahel (Donna) of Wilmington, DE; her children, MaryAnn Peters (Dan) of Kennett Square, PA, Hilborn "Gus" Brittingham III (Pam) of Avondale, PA, Michael Brittingham (Sheila) of McMinnville, OR, Patti Schrack (Albert) of Delaware City, DE, Debbie Chamberlain (Claude) of Evanston, WY and Andrew Brittingham (Brenda) of Tuscumbia, AL; her daughter-in-law Diane Brittingham of Avondale, PA; and her stepsons, James Decker, Jr. (Pam) of West Grove, PA and Michael Decker (Beth) of Landenberg, PA.. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, services for Shirley will be held privately with family.
