He was predeceased by: his parents, Baldomero Castaneda and Margarita Castano. He is survived by: his wife Martina Velazco; his children, Alberto Castaneda, Alfredo Castaneda, Ramiro Castaneda, Edith and Esmeralda Castaneda; his siblings, Earman and Maria; and his brothers-in-law, Antonio, Alfredo, Candelario, Genaro, Juan and Ray.
