He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Gambill and Laura McMillan Gambill; and his siblings, John Gambill, Jessie Abel and Pearl Hopper.

He is survived by: his daughter Maryjoe Gamble-Mundy (Archie) of West Grove, PA; his sister-in-law Virginia Briccotto of Odessa, DE; his grandson Jonathan Gamble of West Grove, PA; and his great grandchild Jonathan Brown of Oxford, PA.. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces; many great-nephews and great-nieces; and many great-great nephews and great-great-nieces.
