With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeline Salerni of West Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Damascus, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2024. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Wiley Thomas Barker and Lola Blanche Johnson; her husband Robert W. Salerni; her children, Deborah A. O'Donnell (Lawrence O'Donnell) and Robert J. Salerni (Dianne Salerni); her grandchildren, Abigail Conklin (Bryan Ernst), Stephen Conklin (Lauren O'Sullivan), Joseph O'Donnell, Gabrielle Salerni and Gina Salerni; her great grandchildren, Alexandra Ernst, Evelyn Ernst and Sofia Ernst; and her siblings, Josephine Blackburn and Burl Barker. She was also cherished by her friends, children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Longwood Funeral Home (913 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Longwood Funeral Home & Cremation (913 E Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, PA 19348). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 6th 2024 at the St. Patrick Cemetery (450 N Union St, Kennett Square, PA 19348).
