He was predeceased by: his wife Joanne Gentry (Ross); his parents, Isaac Gentry and Grace Gentry (Lovins); and his siblings, Dollie Billings of Virginia, Josephine Meade of Ohio, Lois Roark of Nottingham, Billy Gentry of Cochranville and Bob Gentry of West Grove.
He is survived by: his siblings, Beulah Johnson (Pete) of Oxford, Annie Harpe (Bill) of West Grove, Roy Gentry (Marie) of Houstontown and Isaac Gentry (late Sue) of Wytheville, VA; and his sister-in-law Connie Gentry of West Grove. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
