Shimmel (West Decatur, Pennsylvania), born in Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 22, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Domanick and Gladys Domanick (Archer); her husband John E. Shimmel; and her siblings, Georgia Hilliard, Helen Phillips, Thomas, Edward and Donald Domanick.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Ronald Phillips; her daughter Jacqueline Phillips (Ronald) of West Decatur, PA; her sisters, Dorothy Shaeffer of Carlisle, PA, Shirley Botwright and Beverly Beck (Gloria Ranker) of Port Matilda, PA; her grandchildren, Ronnie Phillips, Jr. (Lynette), Ryan Phillips (Sheila), Pastor Ricky Phillips (Karen) and Peggy Renee Dinant (Anthony Hudack); her great grandchildren, Ronnie III of Ryan, II, Seth, Peyton, Zachary, Gavin, Gaaron, Sierra, Kiersten and Trey; and her great great grandchildren, Riley, Brooke, Hunter, Alayna, Amberly, Justice, Adilyn, Mason and Landon.
