It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Avanell Baney (West Decatur, Pennsylvania), born in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 23, 2016, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Gallaher and Mary L. Gallaher (Wynn); her close friend James E. "Jim" Baney; her son James E. Baney, Jr.; and her granddaughter April Elizabeth Wade.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth A. Wade of Philipsburg and Karen L. Woods of West Decatur; her grandsons, James Curtis Wade of Philipsburg and Joshua Shane Wade of Philipsburg; and her son-in-law Dean Woods.
