He is survived by: his spouse Lois Mort (Thompson); his sons, John Michael Mort (Alicia) of Centre Hall and Curtis Dale Mort of Altoona; and his half-siblings, William T. Newman of Milesburg, Ruth Elizabeth "Betty" Weller of Julian, Joyce McCloskey of Bellefonte and Linda Basom of Newport.
