He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Skane and Bob Skane; and his sisters, Mary Mahoney (Bob) and Jacqueline Gately (Chuck). He is survived by: his close friend Helen Skane; his daughters, Deborah Sanchez (Eddie) and Kellie Skane (Nick); his grandson Michael Strazza (Larissa); his brother Ed Skane (Joan); his nieces and nephews, Karen Mahoney, Cheryl Dooley (Peter), Matt Skane (Emily), Jim Skane (Michelle) and Jeff Gately (Hilary); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Conor Gately, Diedre, Nora, Owen Dooley, Bennett and Sage Bonnie Skane.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Donohue Funeral Home - West Chester (1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ss Simon & Jude Church (8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382).
