With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert F. Winterbottom (West Chester, Pennsylvania), who passed away on January 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Founds-Feryo Cremation and Burial Services (229 S High St, West Chester, PA 19382). The military honors will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380 would be appreciated.

“Bob was a classmate of mine at Media High School, always funny and the consummate joker. Walks to and from school with gossip and complaints about the teachers, but not as bad as the nuns at Nativity BVM catholic school he would admit! Always a gentleman and respectful to the girls. Surprising since he came from a family of boys! I will think of him with a smile on my face. Rest in peace soldier and God bless you and your service to our country. It was a joy to know you!
