He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice H. Hartzell and Blanche D. Hartzell (Gehman); and his grandchild Keagan Hartzell. He is survived by: his children, Nancy H. McIntyre (Richard), Richard M. Hartzell (Priscilla) and Neil L. Hartzell (Terri); his sister Lorraine Burton; and his grandchildren, Betsy Cain (Matthew), Emily Peterson (Daniel), Chad Hartzell (Jessica), Philip Hartzell (Devon), Benjamin Hartzell (Jadian), Chelsey Hartzell, Zachary Hartzell and Caleb Hartzell. He is also survived by 13 Great-Grandchildren Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Interment: Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Grace Bible Fellowship Church at the above address.
