He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude S. Davis and Pauline Renner Davis; his brother Donald Davis; his niece Karen Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Jones, Douglas Jones and Sola Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Jones Davis; his children, Mark Davis of West Chester, PA, Linda Mangold of West Chester, PA, Elizabeth Eberhardt of West Chester, PA and Nanette Davis (Stan Okula) of Alexandria, VA.; his grandchildren, Andrew Mangold (Hillary Edwards), Lindsay Scherrer (Jarrett), Zachary Fithian (Claire Bea), Alexander Fithian, Emma Hathaway, Chris Eberhardt (Nia Crerar) and Jenna Eberhardt; and his sister-in-law Nancy Davis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
