As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Lawrence Fahner and Roberta Schultz Fahner; her husband Joseph Peter Short; her sons, Andrew James Short and Stewart Fahner Short; and her stepdaughter Sarah Jean Short.
