It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret C. Sgavicchio of West Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank DiMatteo and Rose DiMatteo (Ferri); her husband John J. Sgavicchio, Sr.; her daughter Deborah Sgavicchio; and her siblings, Paul DiMatteo, Albert DiMatteo and Frances Russo (DiMatteo).
She is survived by: her children, John J. Sgavicchio, Jr., Severena DiLorenzo (Robert) and Kathleen Minnick (late Benjamin); her grandchildren, Jules Sgavicchio (Emily), Bianca Sgavicchio, Angela Sgavicchio, Joel DiLorenzo (Lucy), Brianna DiLorenzo, Jessica Coleman (Kevin Sr.), Jamie Pugliese (Jason), Nicole Minnick and Monica DeVece (William); her great grandchildren, Arianna, Jayden, Angelo, Jason, Ava, Sienna, Kevin Jr., Joseph, Giuliana, Gianna and Dominic; and her cousin Mary Boninu (Nancy DiMatteo). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the St. Agnes Church (233 W Gay St, West Chester, PA 19380). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
