He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Halt and Mary Halt; his wife Theresa; his children, Teresa M. O'Malley (Tom), Patricia A. O'Brien (John), Deborah M. Trimble (Bob) and Gerald B. "Jay" Halt, Jr. (Rosemarie); his grandchildren, Teresa, Jacqueline, Matthew, Alexandria, Tara, Anna, Andrew, Grace, Megan and Laura; his great grandchildren, Patrick, Ryan, Joseph, Emmy and Wyatt; and his siblings, Marjorie Crawford, Joan Murphy, Mary Cassidy, Bernadette Halt and Francis Halt.
He is survived by: his siblings, Madeline Matakonis, Rosalie Sminkey and Joseph Halt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ss Simon & Jude Church (8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA 19382). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the Ss Peter & Paul Cemetery (1600 Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA 19064).
