Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael D. Funka and Elizabeth Funka (Yurko); and his sister Claire Funka. He is also survived by many relatives and close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home (1400 Eoff St, Wheeling, WV 26003). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
