He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis J. Clarke and Dorothy Clarke (Nicholson); and his sister Judith Mulhern. He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Lisa A. Hemphill (Patrick) of Nazareth and Richard A. Clarke (Janine) of Macungie; his grandchildren, Michael, Keri (Jake), Ali (Steven) and Eric; his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Daniel; and his brother Herbert Clarke (Harriet) of Hartford, CT..
